Why do people in developed countries continue to complain about, push away, and throw out food that could be feeding thousands in Third-World countries? Especially in our current world-wide food shortage. It seems that it isn't world wide when we act like this, does it?

This piece is simple. A Different Kind of Complaint or just Different Complaint was created mostly as a symbol; it was made to inspire people to create their own. But who? Who was I trying to inspire? For now, the artists of DeviantArt, an on-line art sharing network with over 100,000 users.

After posting the above piece on my profile, it began to spread, through the Watcher system, (a feature that allows you to have any art a given person creates sent to you) or just through comments. More and more people began visiting the piece. Today it has been visited more than 2000 times, downloaded 11 times, been added to someone’s favorites list 38 times, and has over 85 comments.

What I asked of the Deviants who visited A Different Kind of Complaint was:
-To create a version in any art form inspired by, or just on the topic of, this piece.
-To add a link to my original.
-And to keep in their minds, message of the picture they had seen.
